A Warm Welcome 5-Pack
This collection of wines is fun and friendly, all highly smashable wines, a great way to dip your toe into natural wine (figuratively or literally, your call), if you don't know where to start.
2019 Borachio Show Pony Rosé - On the nose, herbaceous and musky leading to some kinda subtle boiled lolly vibe. Acid is a driver here, minerality for days. That jalepeño vibe at the end.
2018 Kunoh Table 30 - Lightening bolt of acidity, fresh and firm. Lemons, limes, magnolias in the morning.
2020 Brave New Wine Rude Boy Shiraz Blend - This is their most approachable red. Probably because it's got a bunch of white grapes in it, too.
2020 Koerner Watervale Riesling - A broad, textural style of Riesling. Aromatically it's ripe and spicy - another superb wine from one of the region's brightest teams.
2019 Pantom Merlo Grigio - It's a 50-50 blend of Merlot and Pinot Grigio from Magpie Springs that's simply destemmed, co-fermented, and aged in tonneau. But it still tastes unlike anything else from the region.
