Before we get started: Romain spent 7 years working for Tavel legend Eric Pfifferling at Domaine L’Anglore.
So what you are getting here is essentially L'Anglore. And maybe something even better. This is light, zero-zero Carignan made in the same spirit as Pfifferling. In other words, light in color and powerful in expression. Romain is certainly a name to pay attention to as these tiny production wines have garnered an immediate cult following.
Le Bars' Australian importer Liza Carey believes this is the most elegant and desirable of all the cuvées that arrived this year. I'd get after it if you want some
