2019 Bruno Duchene La Luna Grenache Blend
After a stint working for natural wine superstar Frederick Cossard in Burgundy, Duchene set himself up on the unforgiving, rugged seaside slopes of Banyuls to make elegant, sensual reds from his four old vine blocks.
La Luna is the entry level from the Duchene stable. But it's not because the wine is any less delicious than the others. It's because the vineyard itself is just a lot easier to manage being a bit less steep than some of the others. It's silky and light and far too easy to drink too quickly. It's also amazing with a light chill.
