2015 Bruno Duchene L’Anodine Grenache Blend Magnum
After a stint working for natural wine superstar Frederick Cossard in Burgundy, Duchene set himself up on the unforgiving, rugged seaside slopes of Banyuls to make elegant, sensual reds from his four old vine blocks.
The Anodine is a spicy, biodynamic red that reflects the gnarly coastline it originates from – a single vineyard blend of Grenache with a touch of Carignan, fermented whole bunch and aged in old oak. This 2019 Bruno Duchene ‘L’Anodine’ Grenache blend is one of Duchene’s rarest cuvées, you’ll never see this wine in regular sized bottles. This is as small as this one gets (pro tip: give us a call if you’re interested in an even bigger bottle.)
