2018 Frankly, This Wine Was Made By Bob Riesling
Bob does things the hard way. Firstly there's the organics, then there's the lack of any additions, including sulphur. Ok, fine, lots of guys on this site do that. But most of them don't have to transport their fruit all the way from Orange to Blackheath to make the wine.
The small press that is used for this (it's tiny) and the transport mean that the wine sees a fair amount of skin contact and oxidation, leaving it cloudy, dark and complex. It's got this great green apple skin flavour without any of the cider flavours that sometimes come with a wine like this.
