2018 Foradori 'Lezèr' Teroldego
After her father's untimely death, Elizabetta Foradori took the reigns of her family estate at the tender age of twenty, she has spent the time since championing indigenous grape varieties namely Teroldego, Manzoni and Nosiola. Now joined by her own children, the family continue to push the winery forward, experimenting with aging vessels, orange wines and adding new cuvees as they go.
The Lezèr is Teroldego taken from the vineyard's younger vines, given a much shorter maceration than Foradori's other reds and drinks somwhere between a rosé and a traditional red. It's tart, red fruited and it's mouth-watering acidity makes it the ideal candidate for a light chill.
