N.V. Costadilà 280 SLM Prosecco
The 280 SLM is a references to the vineyard’s altitude. The N.V. Costadilà 280 SLM Prosecco is made using the traditional ancestral method (pet-nat bottle fermentation) as opposed to normal Prosecco tank fermement. Grassy on the nose, pears and apples with light fizz and at only 11% it is elegant. The wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered and shipped with sediment. It's Prosecco, but not as you know it. A summer evening special treat.
Costadila is a relatively new Prosecco producer in the Tarzo region of the Veneto. It was founded by Ernesto Cattel and a group of partners in 2006. Though Ernesto has now quit his full- time job to focus entirely on the operation, everything started as a labor of love. The Costadilà project's goal is to valorize and rejuvenate Tarzo's rich agricultural traditions by reintroducing natural farming to the region.
