Dear Sainte Éloise is a sister venue to Laneway Liquor, created by the prolific Love Tilly Group (Love, Tilly Devine, Ragazzi Wine and Pasta and Fabbrica) headed by Matt Swieboda and Nathanial Hatwell. First and foremost a wine bar but also very much a casual dining restaurant, located on the buzzing and vibrant Llankelly Place in Potts Point, Sydney. The name Dear Sainte Éloise is a reference to George Orwell’s memoir ‘Down and Out in Paris and London’.
At Dear Sainte Éloise the wine list focuses on wines made with the greatest consideration for quality in the vineyard and a skilled and gentle hand in the cellar. Dear Sainte Éloise showcases wines from Australia and around the world. The 400+ wine list may cause a pause in conversation. But if you’re struggling the knowledgeable staff won’t hesitate to point you in the right direction.
The food is creative, considered and honest with the dishes centring around the changing seasons. At Dear Sainte Éloise, just as they are passionate about wine made with integrity, they believe good food is born of beautiful produce.
